Pros

Traveling was the best part for me.

Kontras

Horrible management. Felt like a pyramid scheme. The top dogs made a ton of money and us (the recruiters) barely made a dime. I busted my butt to do well and still did not move up. I am glad I stuck it out for as long as I had because it brought me to a bigger and better opportunity else where. There was also a lot of drama and coworkers dating each other which can make for an uncomfortable work space.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review on your experience here. As a management team, we always welcome feedback from our staff (current and former) because it helps us as an organization. There are a couple of things I would like to talk about. First and foremost we are NOT a multi-level marketing firm. We have a Senior Talent Acquisition specialist that spearheads all of our internal hiring. The senior recruiters merely train and mentor our new associates to become the best recruiters they can be. It is very common practice for entry level staff in our industry to come in and be an associate for 6-12 months. After this time period they become full blown recruiters and run their own book of business and are compensated in the same way all of our recruiters are. We don’t even give overrides here…so I can assure you that there is no multi level marketing or pyramid scheme occurring here at Pacific Companies. Secondly, we do not have much drama at our company. In fact, one of our core values is no drama. I can assure you that in my 1 year onboarding meetings with our staff, they always say that it is there favorite core value and it is one of the things they love about working at PC. I have worked at other companies…and this is by far has the least amount of drama I have seen at a company. All companies will have some drama, but we do our best to keep it out of the organization. Although we don’t encourage romantic relationships in our office… we also don’t have a policy against it. We do not have a non-fraternization policy in place at Pacific Companies as we like to stay out of our staffs personal lives. Having said that…I have only seen one relationship since I have been here. For any readers reading this, the Partners at our company, including Gary, take very good care of our staff. We offer full benefits (medical, dental and vision, 401 with match), a number of paid holidays and ample vacation time and sick days. Our Partners have an open door policy and are in attendance at all our company lunches, meetings, and outings. We win best places to work yearly and that is voted on by our staff. Once again, thank you for your thoughtful review and wish you the best in all your future ventures.
