Pros
Work from home. 401k match. Workload is heavy at times but there are times where things slow down and you're able to breathe. I've worked at some pretty crappy jobs. This is by far the best job I have ever had and I am extremely greatful for it. Plan on working here for the foreseeable future.
Kontras
Almost no training when you are hired. There are basic company-wide courses but no support on your daily tasks. I essentially came in and made my own job by taking stuff from people I identified as stressed. Worked for me but I could see failure in that environment a high possibility. Software is extremely archaic but they are making an effort to improve. Feels like working at a government agency. Processes can be bureaucratic and people are inclined to keep "doing it the way we've always done it". Almost nothing was written down for many of the items that I've taken over. Quite a few people have retired after working decades for the company and much of that context has left. I spend a lot of time trying to figure things out that was previously known.
