Management is relentless in its desire to drive shareholder value by increasing the company's stock price at the expense of its employees. Benefits have been scaled back, bonuses have been subpar and many departments throughout the company are understaffed, resulting in employees being overworked . Employee morale is low, especially in the legal department. My advise to lawyers thinking about joining PSEG - look elsewhere, there are far better in-house opportunities available. Due to PSEG Power's perpetual underperformance, this company has become stagnant and there is little room for advancement. Promotions are rare, especially in the legal department.
