This is the worst company I worked for by far. It is so deplorable. Managers are supposed to managed and directors are supposed to direct (work that be) and they just cannot do that. Half of the tech workforce works from home and is simply nerver available to answer any question you may have. The technical operations are stucked in the 90's. They run mysql 3.2 and they still talk about DMZ and INSIDE zones, I mean COME ON. I read the other bad reviews and they are accurate. The good are obviously from the CEO and are not true and they definitely play favorites. Horrible horrible place

Pros

*REALLY cool industry and product - you're not working for a dime a dozen Bay Area tech company. It's also fun to see your company name in the credits of mainstream movies and TV *Really good benefits, especially considering the size of the company *Excellent work/life balance *Your colleagues will be some of the most amazing, passionate people you will ever meet *Company has grown a lot in the past few years. It's a great place to develop yourself and grow with it

*Along with the growth, there have been changes in leadership since I've been here which have resulted in a shift in culture towards a bigger company mindset. I think the changes are for the better but it hasn't been easy for some employees to adjust *Internal communication hasn't been great in the past but is actively being worked on

Some really good people who are passionate about the movie industry, stuck or worse, overworked, underpaid, abused, ultimately fired
