For the last twelve years PARR has been a people first culture. I started as a Lumberyard Associate and made my way up in the company over the years.

No cons to list. People my age complain about toxic work environments and I do not have that experience at PARR

Decent pay for the type of work. Some coworkers are hardworking and supportive, which helps make difficult days more manageable.

The biggest problem was management. People were constantly getting moved around or demoted, which made everything feel unstable and honestly killed morale. There was also a pretty obvious favoritism issue. Some people were clearly treated differently no matter how they performed, which made it hard to trust anything like feedback or opportunities for growth. It really felt like management cared more about pointing out what you were doing wrong than actually helping you improve, and that kind of environment wears people down fast.
