Pros
the only good thing about being here ever was the patients.
Kontras
Severely Understaffed: I was regularly forced to take on responsibilities far outside my role, including cleaning, cooking, and doing laundry, because there simply weren’t enough staff members. One staff member would often be left to manage a full house alone for entire shifts, multiple times, with no support. No Breaks & Poor Treatment: Breaks were non-existent despite being overworked, and the superiors treated staff as if we were expendable. The environment felt less like a workplace and more like being a "slave" to the system. Toxic Work Culture: Staff members were divided and often working against each other, creating a hostile atmosphere. Night staff routinely slept through their shifts, further increasing the burden on others. Neglectful & Unsafe Conditions: The organization regularly accepted individuals who needed a higher level of care than what could be provided. The food was often expired, improperly stored (left on the floor), and still served to residents. Mental & Emotional Toll: The stress was so intense that I would cry at the thought of going in for my shift, even on my days off.
