Pros

Remote flexibility, work life balance, and creative opportunities are all pros. I also really admire how transparent the company is. We are at a point where we are growing quickly and that gives employees a chance to wear many hats and contribute. Also one of the most collaborative work environments I've experienced. The company also does an incredible job of recognizing employees for their hard work and accomplishments. You really feel like you're making an impact!

Kontras

Remote due to covid but there is an option to go into the LA office. Naturally everyone is seeking more face time these days so of course I would prefer to be in office as much as possible. Not a huge con because the company does a great job of keeping people engaged virtually with triva nights and all hands meetings.

Pros

Work that helps creatives do their best work better. Overall really great people on the IC level. Very talented IC group. Cool product but hasn't been updated in years.

Kontras

Executive team only wants people to execute on their ideas. They state they want fresh ideas from others but dismiss them in a really weird and passive-aggressive way. Executives can't get out of their own way. Huge turnover on the creative side. Executives reached out to learn more about what was going on, but when they heard the biggest issue was them, they dismissed the feedback and continued their same MO. Founders can't seem to scale to trust others so the company can't grow past the startup stage. Stuck in the beginnings of the company where pivots and thrash is their love language. They literally think that is the way to succeed even though they just continue to burn cash and will not listen to others saying that will not scale. Employees have been complaining about lack of autonomy for years but nothing changes.
