Pros

Even though it's a 10 year old company, because of the high turn over, the team is pretty young, which means hopefully room to grow. Although they value meritocracy, so no matter how well you do, there's always going to be awful people with more tenured that would be considered ahead of any new comers.

Kontras

Pressure to go into the office when covid numbers are so high, they don't care about our safety. Useless meetings that can be summarized by emails. Won't pay for technology and stuck with limitation of free software. Very hard to look for company information because of the way it is archived, and when you ask for something you're made to feel like an idiot.

The safety of our employees comes first and we are sorry that you didn’t feel comfortable to share your fear regarding the sanitary situation with your manager at the time. We were super flexible on that subject during the lockdown, according to the fears of each. We have respected each other's personal feelings.We even allowed people traveling back to their home countries and working from there. We have been controlled by the administration who confirmed that we were matching all requirements. The members of our teams are close-knit and work closely together in a friendly atmosphere. We are surprised by your feedback on any animosity and we would be interested in knowing more, if you would accept to explain the situation to us by email. Pros

Fair compensation, good product, great industry to sell into. There is a huge opportunity to make an impact both within the company as well as benefiting the world. Lots of autonomy to do your work and find your path to success. This comes with a high bar for results and extreme ownership.

Kontras

Working with the main team in Europe has its challenges (eg. time zone, market differences, culture, etc) but there is more autonomy. With autonomy, you really have to own your own success and you cannot blame others for your lack of results.
