Pros
I learnt how to use the Texas Workforce Commission to fight for my legal rights in here
Kontras
This company deliberately withholds my wages, and refused to pay my last paycheck until I declared my rights to file a claim two weeks after.
Management coerces employees into signing separation agreements that include clauses preventing complaints, threatening to withhold separation pay otherwise. In my case, they committed in writing to a separation fee by a specific date but then ceased communication. Later, they attempted to intimidate me into withdrawing a TWC complaint, an illegal tactic demonstrating their disrespectful treatment of employees.
The CEO operates the company as a personal fiefdom, exhibiting controlling, petty, and highly unprofessional behavior. He insists on micromanaging everything, down to the software employees install. Employees are only allowed to discuss technical topics the CEO understands, this has created an environment where no one dares to speak truthfully.
HR is powerless and weak, parroting whatever CEO says even when it’s clearly illegal. Every email and “agreement” turns into a trap designed to waste your time and exhaust you into giving up asking for your legal wages.
The work environment is chaotic, you cannot even find a senior engineer who speaks proper English, because they were all hired from CEO’s home country, without even the basic working skills in the US.
Communication is nonexistent, and respect for employees is completely absent. If you value your time, your dignity, and your sanity, avoid this company at all costs.
