Pros

I couldn't find one in four years of working there.

Kontras

- Mediocre pay - Overworked - Safeguarding practices are bare minimum - Forcibly sent to jobs you don't have experience nor training in ("we just need a face on site") - Subjected to poor management clichés like "be a team player" - Call out rest period is 8 hours from motor off to motor on; dangerously low rest time for a job that includes hours of driving. They'll say you signed a waiver of EU working hours regulations, but that doesn't waive your right to suitable rest periods. - Recovery time from call out shift is not respected - If you're not offspring of a board member, room for progression is nil - Training never happens - HR department has a conflict of interest due to their relationship with company directors - Whistleblowing procedure is a joke. See above point - No teambuilding; budget for monthly team meeting rarely used - Engineers are segregated from each other - Gossip-driven workplace

Pros

Talkative team members who make you feel welcome. Low drama for an office job. Good as a coast company, more comfortable. Non management culture is good.

Kontras

Little progression or upward momentum. Lack of pay or progress reviews. Salary fails to match inflation and will be on the lower end of your bracket likely for whatever you're doing. Little acknowledgement for personal work based achievements. Micromanaging and a strict lack of flexibility.

Good contracts in Maidstone and Sussex, supportive manager, A LOT of in house and external training.

Kontras

Salary could be better for what they expect, on call rota
