Pros
Although like all companies there are challenges and changes (with a recent merger). At the end of the day the right processes and people seems to be here and the desire to do the right thing is very strong. I do not work in a corporate environment, so it can be different at the plant level. Overall good focus on safety, reliability, and great pay/benefits. The industry also has weathered ups and downs well as they can compete with oil and gas in high times but don’t dip as low in the bad times. There are still swings in the market as with all commodities but after 18 years it has been stable.
Kontras
The company is transitioning from what was a “big small company” to now a “ big company”. With that comes more structure, discipline, process and less input although they have managed this well.
