Pros

There just were none. It was a horrible place to work. You weren't paid what you were worth for skilled, highly specialized labor, the health insurance was poor & expensive, the benefits were almost non-existent, & the performance bonuses were constantly moving targets. I felt like they stole 5 years of my life.

As a grown man, I felt constantly insulted by the at best condescending nature of my supervisors, & at worst, verbally abused by them. The work load increased almost daily; I took the documentation home with me & started working on it at 5 AM daily, just to stay somewhat caught up. The stress level was very high & you always felt as if your job was hanging on a thread. The pay was scant & the raises were almost insulting in their meagerness. You were told in your (always late) performance reviews (the ones that determine your raises) that you could never achieve the highest rating because that represented perfection & nobody was perfect. I felt such a huge weight had been lifted the day I last walked out of that miserable place. I can't emphasize this enough: DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!!!

Supportive management, great teamwork, positive culture, making a difference matters.

Kontras

Pay, I am severely underpaid for my experience and skills. Have inquired numerous times how to expand my role with no to little follow-through.

Pros

Hybrid work once Covid hit

Everything else. They don’t value their best employees. They will get rid of the low man in the totem pole for the smallest reason but there are male employees higher up that have had verbal abuse complaints and sexual harassment complaints and they still have jobs or get promotions. Keep the me. That break the zero tolerance policies but get rid of the hard workers at the bottom for trivial mistakes.
