Pros

The energy and camaraderie here is incredible. People are friends as well as colleagues and it makes going to work each day really fun. In addition, the product is incredible, we have great relationships with all of our partners and clients, benefits are fantastic and, did I mention, fun? It's small enough that you matter...a lot. The company gives a lot and expects a lot. It's one of those rare places where you get a well-balanced combination of hard work, play, benefit and control. The management gives you a great picture of the overall vision and expects you to use your own genius to do your part to make Numetric even more incredible. They also work hard to keep you informed about where the company is going and why. You have a voice that matters in those decisions. Some benefits: 100% Insurance premiums covered Unlimited vacation Very competitive compensation packages Catered lunches sometimes

Kontras

It is still a little bit smaller (which has some real pros like "you matter" mentioned above), so you don't get all of the free lunches, covered parking, etc. Doesn't matter at all to me, but some might really want those perks. They'll be coming, but just aren't here, yet.

Pros

Incredibly nice, genuine, people. Project logistics are easily hashed out as long as projections and concerns are made clear to all involved.

Kontras

Since the company is quite small in size the autonomy granted to each individual can be a double edged sword. While having a great deal of leeway is fantastic so that the best avenue for the task is taken, it also lends to a potential breakdown in communication between project leads and those assigned project tasks. As already stated, the number of employees that make up the company is fairly small, although appropriately so for its current client size, meaning that each person has a relatively greater workload. With that being the case, it can be difficult at times to establish or maintain communications with project leads to provide status updates and/or request input.
