I worked at Now Optics as a Senior Social Media Specialist and contributed to impactful campaigns and brand growth across multiple platforms. I’m proud of the innovative work I accomplished and the resilience I built during my time there.
However, while I gained valuable experience, I found the leadership and internal culture lacked the alignment and support necessary for sustainable employee growth. Several experienced professionals, including members of leadership, exited the company within a short time, which reflected a pattern of instability. Unfortunately, I also experienced a lack of transparency and genuine collaboration, which made it difficult to thrive in the long term.
This environment taught me a lot about what I value in a workplace — respect, clear communication, and real support. I’m grateful for the lessons and the growth, but I hope the company takes more intentional steps toward creating a healthier and more empowering space for future employees.
