Pros
I left Nokia in 2007. It was generally a good place to work. Very good benefits, competitive salaries, good work/life balance. Many of the individual contributors are very smart, hard-working people. The problems are interesting, and global, and there are usually a few trips to somewhere interesting (if you think Finland is interesting).
Kontras
The middle management is the weak link. The top guys usually get it, but there's a long game of telephone and pass-the-buck so by the time it gets to the lower level middle managers, sometimes the big picture can be missed. The bonus program can also put people very at odds with each other, competing to check their checkboxes rather than actually think.
