The company takes advantage of the 3-month trial period. Essentially, they hire you very quickly and assign you an extremely challenging task. For example, you might be asked to develop an algorithm for a problem that previous consultants have already worked on. If you manage to solve it within the 3-month period, they terminate your employment. If you are unable to solve it, they also let you go.
During my time at the company, they have employed this approach around 12 times, mostly targeting unfortunate engineers. This practice particularly affects individuals from immigrant backgrounds or other European countries.
