Pros

Good storytelling deceiving the public. This is the place for you if you want to be underpaid, overworked and discriminated against.

The captain of this sinking ship continues to steer it into disaster with one bad decision after another. Save yourself the stress and disappointment; look elsewhere and take your business to a decent brokerage. Upper leadership's treatment of employees is abhorrent; they hammer you hard, showing a complete lack of care or empathy. This is true for 95% and then there is massive favoritism for the rest who gets cushy salary and preferential treatment - not based on merit. Years long layoffs are demoralizing - The constant layoffs and cost-cutting have created a toxic environment where the remaining employees are overburdened with work. - All for making up for leadership's mistakes. Compensation is a joke - Severely underpaid, took a massive pay cut and a stupid risk on the equity - don't be me - They dangle the promise of RSUs but in reality, the value keeps going down as they give away large sums to producers and refreshers to the select few. As an employee, you're at the bottom of the list for any equity payout and that is if you ever get access to one. Valuation is well below last price so no IPO anytime soon.

Pros

Lean eng teams with a lot of impactful and tangible work. Feels like you are a full-time engineer

Kontras

Currently in an acquisition, so a lot of our products are on pause so don't have a clear sight of goals and achievements over the course of the internship
