Pros

Iain and Luke, the two guys who run the company, will put a lot of trust in you no matter your experience. Makes it a great place to learn and develop - you’re not just some small fish in a big organisation. The tech stack is very interesting, a lot of advanced stuff is being developed. Everyone in the team gets on well. A bunch play board games at lunch. Atmosphere is relaxed and very ‘startup’

Kontras

You could probably get a higher salary elsewhere, but you probably won’t learn as much as you will at Netduma.

Pros

I started working for the Netduma 1 year ago. Great people to work with. Everyone supports each other and you constantly learning new things. Management is reasonable and assisted me when I needed support. Overall 10/10 experience.

Kontras

No option working from home.

Pros

Casual environment. Good work-life balance. Some friendly people that you can really get along with. The CEO is an approachable person with respectful manners.

Kontras

There are no experienced developers. Everyone there joins a graduate without any previous industry background. This enables maintaining the illusion that the CTO is the greatest and only experienced developer in the world. Illusion that he believes and allows him to look down on everyone else. There is a toxic culture coming from the top down where you either win a few p****** contests to become a "genius" or you will be deemed intellectually inferior. The whole company sails on the CTO's mood swings, alternating periods of absence vs micro-management, and erratic decision-making. Every issue that I've seen arise was faced with excuses and not dealt with (proof of that are the fake reviews in Glassdoor). You learn poor software development habits.
