Pros

I have been at ND for almost 5 years now (OCT will be 5). I have moved from BDR, to small market AE, to aftermarket, to mid market AE, to now Large market AE. The individual growth here is great if you are closing deals. anyone that says they were PIPPED, its because they werent hitting. If you are hired to close deals and you cant, what else can you expect? On top of that, management really pushes to keep people here with training, resources, coaching, etc. Management is fantastic. Sure, they might not know the product themselves, but thats my (the reps) job though. I've met with Mike West (VP Oo Sales) on multiple occasions to discuss my career goals and even just to chat it up. He has given me a lot of direction and advide that has lead me to where I am at today. He is probably one of, if not the, best VP's I have worked for. Additionally, the direct managers and directors are great to work with and even gameplan on specific deals/accounts you have. We have a good sales enablement team that you can directly go to with any call or sales process help. I've worked with them on multiple things and they have always given me good help and resources. No need to go to the VP for that when you have a whole enablement team for this exact thing. Paternity leave is great. You can take up to 6 weeks. Had 2 kids since being here and they have never batted an eye at me taking my time off. Working remote is absolutely an option. I prefer to be in the office, but the times that I've been out visiting in-laws or what not, it has never been an issue for me to be working remotely. The biggest thing is that you are hitting your numbers. Anyone that says remote work isnt an option here, its because they arent hitting quota. plain and simple.

Kontras

No company is perfect. There are things that I am always pushing for that i think need to change. updated comp plan (this year they actually created a new one for my segment). So props to them for actually doing that. Marketing seems to be a let down consistently. Hard to get lists for shows and webinars. We've been pushing to join certain associations and its taking forever. It seems like upper management is way too hyperfocused on "daily activity metrics". Like "hey nice job closing those deals, but your dials this week were low...." Kind of annoying. However, goes back to attainment. If you are hitting, not as big of an issue.

Pros

Company is great and has its faults. Feel like the CS team is the only one quickly 'leveling up' but it takes a while to get ducks in a row. My experience has been pretty good, with usual frustrations. But after years in the legal industry and few years with ND, the OCSM is by far the best team I have ever worked with hands down. We are always busy but we support each other and the systems in place are pretty great, need a few fixes.

Kontras

Executive leadership talks about making strong, well thought out decisions but maybe they're thinking a little too long. Feels like we are being talked at as I don't really feel a connection with them.
