Pros
There are many good foot soldiers at this company and definitely far too many General's.

The comments regarding management's lack of sincerity and real caring for the organization’s staff is pretty much spot on when it comes to this company. For example, when the company needed to reduce costs and instituted mandatory furlough, management touted that it included everyone, even the CEO. Wow! The CEO is going to lose a week’s pay just like a counselor! However, the small fact that is being overlooked is that a week of lost pay to the CEO has far less of an impact on his bottom line and ability to pay his bills, unlike the impact it has on a counselor. If this management team really wanted to make a statement about how they truly cared about the staff then start with every member at the executive level having 30 unpaid days. They don't have to take them as vacation, let them demonstrate their true leadership and caring by working for nothing on those days. Imagine the impact of 7 or 8 executives taking 1/12 of their salary off the payroll. To put it into perspective, for every $100K of their salary the company would avoid $8,333 of cost. Multiply that by 7 executives and you just saved $60K! Now, factor in that there are several executives far to the north of this $100K line and you can save over $100K with this singular move. Then maybe, if the rest of the staff has to take 5 days of unpaid furlough they will feel that there is a true proportion sharing of the financial pain by everyone throughout the company. Now, why hasn't this ever been discussed? Simple - Novadebt is a 501(c)3 and while the cause being served by the organization is noble, the true intent and existence of this company is to serve as a different vehicle to let rich people pay themselves lots of money. Certainly, the tax code prevents a properly licensed 501(c)3 from benefitting private interests, but the IRS code does not establish any parameters for payments of salaries and bonuses as it relates to their amounts. Novadebt has a lot of great staff helping a lot of desperate people and serving a lot of good, but in the end it exists as a trust fund for a group of unrelated rich people to pay themselves excessive salaries and make themselves richer. Again, if management wants to dispute this claim then publish your salaries to all the current staff. You don't even need to share them with the general public just share it with the people whose backs you are stepping on to feed your "1%" lifestyle.
