Talented people in Commercial, Product and R&D all the way up to and including board level. Deep level of expertise exists in the traditional areas of the business and Navico has an excellent (if too large) range of innovative products.

The creation of a global office has been disastrously handled. A global London office specializing in jargon and PowerPoint has been established, which manages to be both high-handed and incompetent in its dealings with the areas of the business that actually work. Far better (hugely more efficient and cheaper) to have expanded one of the existing offices in the key market (US) than to develop what is essentially a divisive, vanity project. A shop-window decision rather than a commercially sound one (this theme runs throughout the organisation).
