      There is a Professional Atmosphere. There is somewhat of an issue of fairness when looking out for self. Staff does high Quality Work.

      Kontras

      Washington, DC is not the best place to work. Parking at NAVSEA is not good, even for senior personnel. Neighborhood is not good.

      Decent pay and benefits for the area, unique work that you can't do many other places, good opportunities for travel and promotion

      Kontras

      Commute and parking turns 8 hour shifts into 10 hour shifts, mandatory overtime and travel for periods of several months, frequent shutdowns, very poor morale, terrible first level supervision, mediocre middle management
