Pros
So the best part of this place is the fact that if you are remote OLL (Online Live), you just do your thing. Teach and call it a day at the end of the day. Excellent work life balance. If you're lucky enough to have a good direct boss to report to, it's not bad. For me that outweighed the cons, so for that reason I stuck around. To me that was a plus, teach each day and rock it and you're good. Make students love you.Spend time improving yourself. There are some really smart people who do training here and are good people.
Kontras
There is no room for any kind of promotions, if you don't get money up front, you're not getting a raise or promotion. The benefits were total garbage. No 401k Match. Well, they did a 401K match for like 3 months a few years ago and then pulled it because the business was hurting. Health premiums for a family were like $500-600/mo! Hope your spouse has decent benefits! We went multiple years (3+) without a raise, even cost of living raises. Every year (Q1) they lay off a ton of people, you could be the best of the best, but they could care less. I have seen some of the best trainers be let go because the sales team can't fill classes, only for those exact same trainers to go out on their own and book themselves solid for months out at other training providers. Huh! Some trainers are what I called "lifers" where they have no real world experience either which is a huge con to me. Just read the slides type people. As a trainer who would help out on occasional calls to get a deal done, the sales team has so much churn that you can't even establish a relationship with any of them. Minus the elite few, sales people here are a dime a dozen and that my friends, is the downfall of this company.
