I enjoyed the flexibility, everyone was great to work with, and management was understanding.

No benefits as a part timer.

The Lab Manager V and the technical supervisor PJ are great. Wonderful sources of information and very kind.

Crazy working hours, CFO (owner’s sister) is very demeaning and rude, most upper management does not care about the employee (they constantly tell you otherwise), employees are consistently stressed and unhappy, most problems are blamed on the employees below management, will generally change rules on the fly to benefit the company over any employee, only 1 week of paid time off per year, owners generally don’t help or seemed to care about the importance of lab management (proper training of staff, having under qualified individuals perform Supervisor/Management level work without the pay or proper authorization, etc). If you’re a hard worker they’ll be good to you for a bit and then use you until you’re completely burnt out, giving you no flexibility whatsoever. Good luck having a work/life balance. Company went from 8+ molecular techs beginning of 2021 and over a few months only one remained after I left. Everyone else quite for the same reasons.
