Pros
1. Hybrid upon confirmation 2. Near LRT (but still quite a walk) 3. Colleagues are super nice
Kontras
Many cons. The marketing director doesn't know who they want to hire. Hired me as a senior graphic designer but actually looking for a manager to supervised his own team, ask me to take upon that role but it wasn't something we discussed about during the interview. Said was looking for someone who specialises in branding but doesn't know the difference between branding in marketing and branding in design. Everyone in the execution department does more than just 1 jobscope. Another designer is doing web design. 1 content creator do video editing, client servicing and strategy planning for so many clients. Does that make sense? Marketing director is very "my way or no other way" kind of person. He'll listen to you, take into consideration but then eventually everything goes back to the usual cycle. Text people after work, says urgent work but responds very late. 1 intern doing everything like his personal assistant. No work life balance at all. Have to do daily end of the day reporting which is super micromanaging. They focus too much on using ChatGPT and "AI Tools", literally brainrot company. No creative thinking at all for creative team. Promise a company laptop, but nothing was provided. First ever "agency" I work in where many people don't know what they're doing. Too reliant on ChatGPT and "AI Tools". KPI metrics unrealistic, just because that 1 person back then could do it doesn't mean it's the same for everyone. Zero appreciation to crafted. I don't recommend if you really value your craft, your work and your skills. Their solution? ChatGPT. Ideation? ChatGPT. Talk down/look down upon on my own ambitions saying that my career goals have no career progression after 2-3 years.
