I worked here for a year and moved onto substitute teaching, but I still come back during the summer! If you plan to have a career in education, it's a good place to get your feet wet, get some experience, and find out which age group you like to work with the most. If you're a college student, they're very accommodating to your schedule changing every quarter/semester. They also offer lots of in-house resources (books, boardgames, flashcards) if you don't know where to start with a student or need tutoring strategies (ex: how to teach a child to read). It's a very warm, supportive, and positive environment, and the children's academic success is always at the forefront of every decision.

They are a non-profit organization, so they don't offer benefits/perks that other companies do.
