Because the CEO and CTO are so experienced and knowledgeable they half expect you to be too. Little capacity for official training (good and bad thing as you learn on the job). Office is not fit for purpose and big social divide between software teams and business services. Not too social and workload means you have to work evenings and weekends on occasion (again not too bad because the work is enjoyable).
