Avoid contract positions - Designer bei Modicum: Mitarbeiterbewertung

Culture is fantastic, very welcoming, and makes new contractors feel at home very quickly. The project leads are great at clearly communicating workload expectations, deadlines, and any fires or complications that pop up. Contractors are an integral part of the team and are treated like humans, not assets.

Ambitious events/campaigns are extreme time commitments and while overtime is expected and compensated fairly, it can still become overwhelming.

I was approached by Sarah on LinkedIn about an opportunity to join the Modicum team. Every single email and phone conversation was friendly and welcoming. I 1st had a phone interview and then an in person interview that lasted about 2 hours. I met with the President + 3 others in Senior Management. I was offered the position about a week later, and was thrilled to have been given the offer! Since Day 1 at Modicum, the team has been warm, friendly, and welcoming; senior management has been highly engaged and offered incredible on-boarding + support; the office culture is laid back, nerdy, and fun -- we've had happy hours on Fridays, summer Fridays, donuts on Fridays (all things that I love!) The work/life balance is incredible, and I love coming into work every day!

I honestly can't think of any cons!
