I have worked for MWES for over 7 years now and I have to say this has been the most exciting and rewarding career I’ve ever held. What I love most about working here is the days are never the same. Very rarely do we build the same thing twice and even if we do, improvements or changes have been made so it is never truly the same machine. I get to see projects through from mere concepts to actually functioning on our shop floor and then shipping to our customers. MWES is no different than any other company that experiences typical day to day schedule and deadline challenges. However, our equipment is custom designed per our Customer’s specifications. We do not provide cookie cutter machines nor do we keep stock on our shelves. Those that are successful here understand that priorities can shift on a dime; they understand the focus and drive it takes to accommodate those changes at a moment’s notice. I work closely with most departments within the company and I can honestly say we do our best to collaborate and work together. We are always striving to innovate, grow and develop our processes to ensure happy customers, whether they’re external or internal. MWES is proof that if you are willing to come to work each day with a positive attitude, put forth the effort to learn and grow within your role(s), you will excel. We do very complex work which takes time to learn, train and understand. MWES has always been willing to accommodate any schedule changes or conflicts that may arise. I don’t feel guilty if I have an unexpected appointment during the day, take PTO or need a sick day. I know I have a great team behind me that I can trust and is willing to help out to get the work done. Overall, I enjoy the positive company culture offered at MWES and appreciate the opportunity I am given to build my career here.

Get there early before the parking lot fills up! Training can be complex. Must be willing to learn the hard things.

Nice people for the most part Company has some perks like raffles and treats brought in by employees

Communication is nonexistent Management is overly involved in lower level work There is no meeting or project involvement until the jobs are sold Company takes on more complicated projects than they should and gets stuck with projects other companies wont accept Management doesn’t communicate expectations
