Zero regard for military service members. I am in the National Guard, and I was "let go due to the store having financial hardships." Of course this happened 6 days after I gave them my activation orders, not to mention they just hired two new people to work at the store less than 2 weeks before this happened. Coincidentally, this all happened after I came back from my unit's Annual Training, to which I was greeted with a demotion upon my return (from Service Manager to Service Advisor), and we were hitting record sales as a store. They could not care less about military service members, they consistently speak poorly of them, and find any excuse to try and punish them for having to fulfill their military obligation. I would not recommend touching this place with a 10ft pole, let alone an application. Management constantly lies to their customers almost as much as their employees, and they almost actively work against them. They set beyond unrealistic goals for the stores, and then typically punish the lowest level members in the store when the goal isn't achieved: Not enough inspections, not enough recommendations, not enough anything, and almost inevitably someone gets "let go due to performance" only to be replaced within 24 hours. The store management is rarely punished, and they put it all on the mechanics themselves. God forbid they ever suggest a member of store management or let alone themselves as corporate managers could ever be liable for a stupid decision that results in people not wanting to come back or spend additional money. There is essentially zero mentorship or actual training within the company. They just hand you a stack of printouts and tell you that you have two days to read them and then you start working, and that's just for the desk jobs. For the mechanics, there isn't any training at all. You might get a 5-10 minute crash-course on how to use the tablets for the inspections, but from there you're on your own when it comes to literally anything in the shop, unless another mechanic takes pity on you and actually shows you what to do. Additionally, there are clearly favorites that are rapidly promoted or re-positioned into better stores so they can make more off of commission checks. Don't bother bringing up problems that don't directly involve the manager you're speaking to. They will find nearly any reason in the book to shut you up including the "well I'm in charge" speech where they demand respect from everyone, despite never giving any to anyone. There is a constant aura of disrespect from the corporate management, and they do not respect any sort of effort that doesn't directly and immediately benefit them. There were multiple instances I suggested utilizing higher-quality parts (full ceramic break pads, coated/painted rotors, non-scrapyard parks, etc.) while maintaining the current price points because it would minimize reoccurring issue returns, warranty replacements of parts, and would overall lead to be better experience to the customer. All they heard was "spend more, earn less" and I was told that it was a "useless idea" that I "should not attempt to implement." If for whatever reason you ever find yourself working for this company I pray you do not have anything else going on in your life because they will find a way to penalize, demote, punish, or outright fire you for it.
