Really great work environment with lots of great people!

Depending on the week, workload could vary from heavy to light.

The people in the plant sciences are overall kind and amazing. There are exceptions, but the people love what they do and I feel lucky to be a part of the community.

MSU does not want to provide TAships to graduate students since we are more expensive than hiring a lecturer, which isn't great if you want to work at a PUI after your PhD. (It depends on the department.)
