1. Notice Period: The notice period is the same for both employees and the company, set at two months. This uniformity ensures fairness and consistency in our employment terms.
2. Public Holidays: Our holiday policy aligns with the public holiday standards set by Bangladeshi law. While we follow these regulations, we strive to accommodate employee needs as much as possible.
3. Salary Increments: We understand that compensation is a significant concern. Salary increments are based on individual performance and market trends. We encourage open discussions during performance reviews to ensure clarity on growth opportunities.
4. Work Hours and Compensation: We recognize that working extra hours can be challenging. While working on weekends is not a standard expectation, it may occur during critical project phases and is communicated accordingly. We have policies in place to provide compensation or time off for overtime worked.
5. Deduction of Casual Leaves during Internet Shutdown: Regarding the situation in Bangladesh during the internet shutdown, we ensured that no employee was penalized for circumstances beyond their control. The company’s policy during such events is to support our employees, and deductions were not applied as described. However, the company did ask employees to compensate by working over the weekends for the lost work. We remain committed to improving our work environment and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.
