Pros

Good place to start a career. Lots of training and fantastic experiences available. You will slave in your early career but can walk away with a rich portfolio of experience.

Kontras

Over managed But under - led. Used to be one of the great HR consultancies. Motto used to be "take care of clients and they will take care of you". Now clients are simply revenue targets and consultants economic cogs. Profit not clients is the new focus. Bleeding senior talent who are unwilling to cut corners and squeeze clients. Management is in constant flux. Key to midmanagement survival is delivering numbers and managing your image up to executives.

-Trustworthy immediate colleagues -Good work/life balance and flexibility

Kontras

-Little career pathing within company. Organization is extremely siloed, and cheap as they simply aren't interested in paying for small things to advance one's career like local industry conferences and events such as team holiday dinners that would have minimal impact on the company's bottom line. -Pay not aligned with skills or talent marketplace -One would think a benefits/career consultant would have decent pay and benefits. This is not the case
