Great Company - Mitarbeiter (anonym) bei Maxon Computer: Mitarbeiterbewertung

I passed up multiple full-time writing job offers at other tech companies before finally accepting this position with Maxon. Maxon offered the right blend of fair compensation, casual work culture, encouragement toward new skills cultivation, and willingness to let me take charge of my own responsibilities and create new value within my domain. Basically, I might have found better offers (in some regards) elsewhere, but I likely would have been bitter and chafed under a micromanaging hierarchy in the long-term. I enjoy using Maxon's products and take pleasure in doing my part to improve users' experience of them -- and Maxon allows me significant leeway in my ability to do so with more creativity than most other companies would.

Still not convinced that in-office presence three days a week is needed and/or conveys real positive ROI for the company, but Maxon has gone out of its way to make the hybrid work model as comfortable, friendly, and flexible as possible.

Some very nice people. Easy work and a free yearly trip to Germany. No QA reviews.

Product quality is bad, customers complain price is too high. Leadership is very high ego and becoming extreme. Extreme favoritism at executive level.
