As a self-employed woman through Mary Kay Cosmetics, I was able to quit my 8-5 job and stay home for my teenage girls while retaining a professional salary. My opportunities for advancement are literally endless and when my last child is off to college, I will be able to invest more time in my business and make even more money to contribute to our family's needs and my retirement. The added bonus is that I am able, as a Senior Sales Director, to enrich the lives of other women and families by having a relationship with them as customers, team members & sales associates. I have always worked in a field that empowers women to be the best they can be and have found that this position embodies both the financial and the emotional/psychological aspects that make a career a lifestyle. The lifestyle is fantastic!!! Oh....driving the career car is pretty cool too!!!
