Pros

- overtime was paid (which is sort of a poisoned gift all things considered as in Belgium you are taxed a lot on these) -Homeworking was allowed depending on your position (although not encouraged)

- During full covid we were asked to come to the office, even while it was mandatory for non-essential roles to stay at home -Massive turnover of employees leading to a lot of knowledge about the business being lost to competitors -Several employees suffered from burn outs, due to the high workload -Rigid structure

Pay advertised was not accurate * Lack of transparency in compensation * Wasted time and travel expenses I had a very frustrating experience with the hiring process. I attended the interview and was told my performance was “perfect,” which made it seem like I was a strong candidate. However, the role was advertised at a minimum of $30/hour, and later I was told the actual pay was closer to $20/hour. That’s a major discrepancy and feels very misleading. On top of that, I ultimately received a rejection despite the positive feedback. Between the misleading pay and the outcome, this process felt inconsistent and unprofessional. I also spent time and money on travel (gas) to attend the interview, which makes the experience even more frustrating. Overall, this felt like a waste of time and could have been avoided with clearer and more honest communication upfront.
