Pros
-Some really great people work at Maple -Learning about healthcare is interesting -Telemedicine can really help people
Kontras
-High workload (working into the night, weekends). Low salaries and no overtime pay. -Intense and unpredictable micromanagement; your work is picked apart based on whims and power plays. -Bullies in upper management poison the well, make everyone walk on eggshells. -Cognitive dissonance of promoting the ROI of mentally healthy employees while our own mental health was suffering. -Personally: my mental health took a nosedive while working at Maple. I'd often close my laptop at the end of the day and sob. I was unable to sleep because I was stressed about projects. My priorly diagnosed mental illnesses either resurfaced or worsened over the course of working at Maple.
