Pros

- remote - cute logo - families you work with are almost always wonderful

Kontras

- Don't understand clinical care - Clearly driven by profit, not client care - When it comes to it, the CEO (Dama) does not care about providing good quality care to families (she's not even a clinician), and hires people that also don't understand what it takes to provide excellent care. - Low pay and responsibilities are always changing

Pros

Remote work. Decent pay compared to other mental health tech startups.

Kontras

A LOT of hiring and firing of benefited staff. CTO and co-founder left (we were told he was going on sabbatical and that wasn't true), parent coaching team was all let go (after demoting and promoting some members of this team), two clinical directors fired now (one recently while on leave), employees moved to part-time (and some have quit after this), and clinical decisions made top down by staff that aren't clinical (or are but aren't doing the work). Current employees have shared that families are notified about changes before therapists such as mandating all therapy sessions are 55 minutes long. This length can't be dictated across the board when working with children with various needs remotely. They have had trouble for years hiring and keeping contract therapists. They expand to different states without getting things right. Financially, they aren't doing well. They are now hiring unlicensed therapists. And they recently plan to apply pay cuts to their contract therapists. Their internal software/app sucks - various features have been requested for years that aren't implemented.
