Pros

MRE was a great place to work. Supporting the TSA mandates to screen people and packages, keeping the flying public safe is noble act. Being part of the team we had, that would support each other was great. Call center and tech support centers where always helpful to me and the customers. Great team, environment, equipment and management.

Kontras

there where a few transitional times for MRE and MRE customer organizations(TSA, Smiths Detection). Processes seemed to change constantly. Thankfully management was always available.

Pros

Great if you are looking for entry level type employement but no real future growth. Easy job even without a specialized skillset. Once you have a position, very easy to grow beyond the contract and network for yourself and get hired full time with a better company.

Kontras

No real room for growth, even the website shows how behind the company is in the current market. No real SME's that handle the infrastructure. More or less the CEO and VP are the recruiters. Once you are in the job position, they do not try to advance or grow with your career. Doesn't matter if you have education, work experience, or even certifications. You are going to be placed in a call center doing customer support. Salaries are not comprehensive to current market standards.
