I can only think about nice projects (somethimes) and nice pipeline (compared to a small studio..)

Low pay, random promotions to people who don't deserve it. Don't valorise artists that are good, they all leave for other companies. They underbid projects and require artists to work over time to meet crazy expectations. They charge clients less than what they should in order to get projects. they all expect the underpayed artists to work a lot to create ''the best vfx'' aiming to win awards, They forget that they are not paying the artists enough, production and supervisors/client expectations are way above what they charge for. Over the few years at MPC I've seen people with 2-3 years experience being promoted to senior or lead. These people change company and they have to take a step or two down because MPC has randomly promoted them, even if they don't deserve it skills wise. Maybe they promoto due to preferences or if the HOD or supervisor like you, definetly not because they deserve it. This is not always the case, but I'd say it's 70-80% of the time like that. They keep doing company events and team events. spending money on these things to show that they are cool. The reality is that the majority of the people are un-happy, underpayed and burnt out. The only people who enjoy this things are the small group of people who get promoted and gets all the benefits. Now that they have removed artist and key artist.. everyone is senior. The fact that someone has worked at MPC 3-5 years doesn't necesarely make them senior.. If they leave the company they will have to step down a position. But MPC has decided that now everyone is senior xD funny
