Management: Lack of Communication. Lack of Professionalism No Leadership -managers are instructed to belittle employees and offer minimal assistance (sad but true). If you ask for help you're told to "Figure It Out". Instead of being leaders, motivators and support to your front-line staff, they're instructed to be the opposite... Criticize above praise Career Advancement: There is no opportunity for advancement. "Where you start - you finish". If you work with support there is only 1-Tier. There are employees that do not answer phones, have exponential knowledge of the software, others reach out to when they cannot resolve an incident, they are not considered 2nd-Tier. -What does one have to aspire to? Managers will never advance, which means techs will never become a manager. Sounds like a dead end position to me Pay Rate and Schedule: Severely Underpaid. No Incentives Pay Increase & Bonuses -If you don't have any responsibilities (rent/mortgage/auto/education) the rate of pay is acceptable. When you're being underpaid and your pay schedule is unfavorable that makes it extremely difficult to manage those bills and responsibilities.. Bonuses and pay increases are a joke, unless you're a part of the management team or higher. The discrepancy between management and other staff is remarkable. Office Culture: The culture of any business or department is created by management. The culture of the office is poor. The management is rude and unprofessional. They would rather embarrass you in front of the entire company by singling you out via company wide emails instead of simply speaking to you directly. Again, criticize above praise attitude/mindset. The same team management is there to lead and support they will walk by you without even acknowledging your existence. It's already a stressful job due to the complexity of the software, combine that with terrible attitudes and you have a poor work environment. Work Life Balance: You will have mandatory, rotating weekend hours. The day you work, Saturday or Sunday is an 11 hour workday. I'll leave it at that Training: Unfortunately there is no formal training. In all fairness, they did begin giving some form of training. Prior to, the training involved you shadowing another employee that is equally confused and ignorant to the software as you are. If you ask management for assistance you may be instructed to "Check Salesforce", use the "process", but the "process" never responds. Retention: During my time at the company there have been 30+ people that have left the company. There is something flawed within the team and or system. People leave poor management, not bad companies.
