Bring fairly new to carpentry, MAK has been a pleasant introduction to the trade. The ownership is very supportive of its design and production staff, always making sure needs are met. The work environment day to day is very inducive for growth as a young carpenter.

The pros heavily outweigh the cons and if any changes need to be made, management is very receptive and changes are made when needed.

I worked at MAK for 2 and a half years and they have created a great work environment. Everyone cares about the work they do and are enjoyable to work with on a team. The office is a great space in a great location downtown Davis. I got to work on super interesting and creative projects and gained a lot of good experience in the design field!

The commute could be long some days from downtown Sacramento, but worth it for a job I truly enjoyed!
