Pros

Pay is higher than industry, free lunches, great, mature product

Professional Services management seems to like putting out fires so much that they do not even try to prevent them, SOP's not followed nor being enforced as it relates to implementation and delivery which allows for varied results, fires, etc. allowing the cycle to repeat itself over and over again, management very much focused on numbers which are not being met, to no surprise, with no change in approach (definition of insanity), culture due to lack of strong, unified leadership at local level in Dallas. People just go to work and go home. Very robotic like where management makes you feel like a resource and not like you're on the same team.

We pride ourselves on the positive culture at M-Files, and believe that's the key reason that very few employees choose to leave. We compete in a large and competitive market, and are growing dramatically faster than the market overall, and faster than any other single competitor. It's true that our rapid growth and highly competitive market creates a fast-paced and dynamic environment that is also sometimes hectic and high-stress. Regardless, the only way we can continue to grow and succeed as we have in the past is by creating high value for our customers, and the only way we can do that is by retaining employees. That requires that we maintain an environment where people enjoy working. Again, your personal experience notwithstanding, we feel our strong employee retention and rapidly increasing base of satisfied customers indicates we're doing that well overall. Like other fast growing companies, M-Files is constantly evaluating and refining our processes and organization, so your feedback is appreciated. No doubt, there is always room for improvement, so in that light, thanks again, and best of luck in the future.

I supported enterprise deals, partnered closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering, and contributed meaningfully to pipeline growth and customer success. I also carried a significant workload, often working extended hours to keep up with demand. At one point, the volume of work was high enough that management had to step in and redistribute some of my responsibilities. Despite that, I remained fully committed and continued delivering strong results. Despite strong performance, I was let go in early 2026. What made the experience especially frustrating was that I had earned President’s Club (148% of quota in 2025) and the associated BVI trip, but was not given the opportunity to attend due to the timing of the "layoff". It was difficult to see both sustained effort and recognized performance ultimately not translate into stability or follow-through. While I understand that business decisions are driven by broader factors, there was limited transparency leading up to the organizational changes, which added to the frustration. Based on this experience, it’s difficult to fully recommend this employer. Based on this experience, I would encourage candidates to carefully evaluate how performance, recognition, and organizational decisions are aligned.
