Pros
The people seem very nice. A raise after 90 days (hopefully if everything is going well). You do not have to wait a year to post out of your position, in fact, they encourage you to move ahead. This would be a great opportunity (beit, low paying) for someone with background checker experience and/or a paralegal. But I doubt many paralegals will work for this salary. I'm surprised they hired people over 50 years. But basically we barely had any over 50 yrs that made it through the training sessions. I guess it's a "research" on each document position, but not like going on the internet and researching or locating info.
Kontras
The pay at $11.50 per hour is very low ($23,900 annually before taxes are taking out)., but you do get a raise after 90 days. Lots of turnover. They seem to want to work you to death. It's not specifically a data entry position, yes, there is plenty of data entry, but you also have to find, locate and figure out what is the jail/prison time and fees and fines on each applicant. You have to figure out and locate on documents and thru reading through sometimes long paragraphs or multiple paragraphs what the jail/prison/fine/fee. You also have to figure out is this a fee or a fine and what type. The technology is harder for the ones over 50 years, but a breeze for the younger people in their 20s, etc... And training is fast.
