Pros

I’ve never met this many smart people in one place. Everyone cares about what they work on and is actually passionate. I learn new things every day. The office is great, always have snacks and full of fun places to hang out. There is a flat hierarchy and managers are expected to contribute as ICs which I really like. Salaries are above the market rates.

Kontras

Lovable keeps on growing and there are so many things to do. However one can still prioritize what needs to be done themselves.

Pros

Lovable is one of the best companies I’ve ever worked at. The speed is insane. People ship constantly. There’s no process theater or politics. If you like autonomy, ownership, and actually doing the work instead of talking about the work, it’s an incredibly energizing environment. The company genuinely embraces AI leverage internally. ICs have massive impact. One person can move projects that would require entire teams at larger companies. The culture rewards builders, curiosity, speed, and initiative. Also, people care deeply about the product and users. This is not a “rest and vest” environment. Everyone is extremely engaged.

This environment is definitely not for everyone. The pace is intense and can feel chaotic if you prefer stability, clear swim lanes, or lots of structure. Things change constantly. Roles evolve quickly. You need to be comfortable with ambiguity and adapting in real time.
