Pros

The people who work at LookThink love what they do and are always willing to share their knowledge and love of a topic with others. There's a very strong sense of community not only during but after work hours. Management has improved transparency over the past few years to help keep employees knowledgeable of how the company is doing from an operations perspective.

Kontras

There can be long periods of time of very hectic weeks where resources are overbooked followed my periods of time with barely anything to do. This isn't nearly 100% the fault of the company but there definitely seems to be a pattern and it would be nice to perhaps be more aggressive in pushing lower priority projects farther along, or expediting them ahead of looming large projects to prevent stacking.

Pros

The company is fully remote and it’s up to you if you want to work from their DC office or home, so it’s nice to have that flexibility. You’re constantly learning new things on a daily basis, which is exciting and the people you work with are very talented and bring a lot to the table.

Kontras

Regardless of your role, you will be in meetings all day, everyday. If you’re not in a meeting, everyone can see your calendar and someone will either pull you in a meeting or set a meeting up with you. Because you’re spending so much unnecessary time in meetings, you don’t start your actual work until later in the day, leading to a very poor work/life balance. When you bring your concerns to leadership, it’s pretty much on you to figure it out and leadership will say they are helping you but they do everything but help you/support you. There was also a lot of miscommunication and leadership would never be honest with us on things. So many people kept quitting the company during my time and leadership would be awkward when they were asked why so many people kept leaving. There are also employees that have been here much longer than others and those employees are looked upon as “favorites” since they agree with everything leadership says.
