Pros
-free membership -discounts on food -generally nice co-workers -friendly members for the most part
Kontras
-pay you on a bank card takes forever to figure out if you have a different card -they value looks more than ability to do the job -management is very passive aggressive -no lenience whatsoever on scheduling unless you give them a reason they deem valid *personal story: I requested 20 hours a week to work. I received 3 consecutive weeks that I am working 30+ hours. In these three weeks there are two days I'm not already working. My department head deliberately said it was required I sign up for not 2 or 3 but 4 more shifts in these three weeks! This would mean working a double (10 hours of lifeguarding) at least twice. It is also mandated that you work at least 2 holidays over the summer and since I was not yet hired by memorial day... I worked the 4th of July for regular pay and have to work the day before my junior year of high school starts.* This story being said is not to rant as much as inform other people who are looking at working for Lifetime as a part-time job. Perhaps they treat their full-time employees better, but I will never know because there is no way I want to work there full-time.
