Brilliant, hardworking people. Good benefits and programs. A good place to get a wide range of experiences.
Kontras
There's no "sitting promotions" unless HR deems it in their best interest to do so. Problem people are promoted or kept on and hardworking people get the honor of picking up their slack. They repeatedly hire from outside rather than recognize their own talent internally. Management has no real power to grow employees. HR is not for employees. They are for the C level executives. Get in - Get out type of environment.
