Pros
The people are wonderful. Absolute gems, no sarcasm. While you might thinking starting working weekends is a drag, I actually had a great deal of fun with my team. A lot of upper management is pretty chill and relatable. It’s challenging when you go from consumer to business, but it’s rewarding. It’s tough to get promoted up, but it’s definitely doable. The pay was alright. Insurance was pretty good too. 401k plan was great. Bonuses were freaking rad!
Kontras
It would have been nice to see a little more comrodery(sp?) between management and the teams. The tension was often thick enough to slice. I believe many felt the mixing of the teams was not entirely beneficial and often led to more of a stressful workload. We’re all very specialized, so the addition of other ques could be tough. There were times when I felt like I was trying my very best, and doing everything I could, and was told it wasn’t enough, when it was more than others could have done. That hurt, I’m not sure if it was a motivation tactic. But it often left me fearing losing my position and feeling quite under appreciated.
