Pros
- Gave me a decent background in retail experience to put on a resume. - Being able to do activity/fun days and the like was always something to look forward to. - I had wonderful coworkers who I still keep in touch with.

- Taking off for any reason was nearly impossible. The manager almost always refused to give up their personal time to help employees who need off for significant reasons. Even if you ask for just one or two days off in a month WAY in advance, you still probably won't get off. - The owner cares even less about the employees. - It is difficult to advance/receive a raise. - Even if you work hard, you will still often feel like your job is on the line.
